Traditional Pongal Festival Celebration at Quannta School of Software Engineering

Pasumai Pongal was celebrated with a theme of Smokeless Boghi in a grandeur and traditional way in the campus. gathered in the Amby Theateraround 1.00Pm in order to celebrate the Pongal Festival with the motto of planting the tradition of Tamilnadu and its values in the youth minds. The management of Quannta School of Software Engineeringis a part ofE.S Educational Group,which is one of the premier institute for advanced software engineering courses serving as one of the best colleges for software engineering in Villupuram District over 50+years had organized the grandeur celebration. The afternoon started with the enlightened welcome address by Dr. K. Indira., Principal of Quannta School of Software Engineering welcomed the gathering and briefed the importance of festival celebration with social awareness and wishes. The highlight of the event is the inspirational and motivational speech by the guest of honors Mr. P. Kuppusamy. Administrative Officer-Quannta School of Software Engineering, who spoke about the importance of celebrating festivals together as a tool for knowing the tradition and importance of team building. 

The Gala mode started with the traditional cultural dance performance by the girls ofAdhiVeeraThamizarPeravai of Computer Science and Engineering department”.The most enjoyed and highlight of the Pongal celebration is the Pot Breaking Event, in which the students from the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Computer Science Engineering along with teaching as well as non-teaching faculties of Quannta School of Software Engineering were participated. After the young minds and their masters were tired physically, there is something to drain their brains. Solve the puzzle event on knowing the Tamil freedom fighters and their golden thoughts made everyone Enlighted. The winners of various events were awarded with goody’s. The event ended with the prayer along with sweet Pongal cooked by the students with hope of good will in the upcoming years to the farmers of our Nation. Lot of Positive Vibe is carried into the minds.
